An xxlmag.com report…
Foxy Brown is still taking shots at her longtime rival Lil Kim along with former ally Jay-Z.
On her new track “Let Em Know,” Foxy recycles a diss made about Kim’s appearance on the ABC series Dancing with the Stars on the song “Off the Muscle” that surfaced in November. “I’d rather be in the club at the bar/Then go disrespect my hood, by dancing with the stars… I’m BK’s Don Diva, give the whole hood face lifts/G’wan I fix your face *****.”
The Brooklyn MC when on to dead rumors about her involvement with Rick Ross, Nas, and AZ while exposing her affair with Jigga, spitting “The streets talking, got the hood going crazy/Niggas heard I ****** with Ross and had the nigga baby/They said I xxxxxx with Nas and now they say it’s AZ/But on the low, the real nigga was Jay-Z.”

At the end of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video, just as they are leaving the scene of a killing spree at a diner, fans see Gaga and Beyoncé drive off into the desert, “Thelma & Louise” style. The video then shows the following graphic: “To Be Continued.” So, what plans do Gaga and video director Jonas Åkerlund, planned this clip as a sequel to “Paparazzi,” have in store for the third part? Well, not much of anything — for now, at least.

“Well, there’s no plan,” Åkerlund told MTV News. “As I said, we’re very spontaneous. We’ll see.”

“N.Y. State of Mind” is the second track and first song track from Nas’ debut album Illmatic. Production is by DJ Premier who samples two jazz songs for the track’s beat: “Mind Rain” by Joe Chambers and “Flight Time” by Donald Byrd. Premier additionally scratches vocals from Eric B. & Rakim’s “Mahogany” for the song’s chorus.
Nas raps two verses on the song in which he raps about his rapping talent and describes the dangerous environment he lives in.
A sequel to “N.Y. State of Mind” can be found on Nas’ 1999 album I Am…. An early version of the song can be found on Nas’ demo tape under the name “I’m a Villain.”
